Robin Hood was one of the defining productions of my career: a large-scale outdoor performance where horses, riders, actors and live action had to land perfectly, every night.
I was brought in as Horse Stunt Coordinator to design and oversee the mounted action and combat. The work included supplying specialist stunt horses and riders, training the actors, coordinating 35 horses and integrating the mounted work across a cast and crew of 200.
Performing for 3,500 people each night meant there was no stop, reset or second take. Weeks of preparation made the spectacle feel immediate — while keeping every performer and horse inside a precise, repeatable plan.
